Maun Animal Welfare Society (UK)

Maun Animal Welfare Society is a charity based in the UK that is dedicated to protecting Botswana's wildlife through domestic animal care. Their mission is to promote the alleviation of animal suffering by providing education on responsible domestic animal ownership, veterinary care, spay/neutering programs, and general animal health care to the low income and vulnerable population of Botswana. They also undertake mobile outreach clinics to rural villages surrounding the Okavango Delta River and beyond, providing sterilization and vaccination of dogs and cats to reduce the risk of disease.
