Compassionate Paws International

Compassionate Paws International is a charity based in Sierra Leone dedicated to providing veterinary care to street dogs in Freetown. With one of the highest densities of street dogs in the world, estimated at over 100,000, CPI works towards controlling the population through spaying and neutering programs. Research shows that females are particularly vulnerable, with 89% of dog owners allowing their pets to roam the streets. By volunteering with CPI, individuals can make a difference in the lives of these stray dogs and help save lives in the community.
